I base my characters personalities and / or features off my family/friends that I know in real life. The people I based them off of do know about them and enjoy the fact that they are part of my art.

Zero Blackfire - I based him off my friend Jake. I met him in high school and he was one of the few people that were nice to me. Awesome guy and an amazing friend.
Arc Bright - Jake has a daughter in real life, and so that's how I got my idea to give Zero a daughter. (Zero has three daughters now though) I didn't base Arc off of Jake's daughter though, I based her off my childhood friend Stephanie. Sweetest / nicest girl I've ever met and totally afraid of scary movies xD!
Sketch Stonewright - I based him off of two people, Ryan and Josh. Ryan is another great friend I met in high school and Josh I met in college. Both extremely nice guys! Ryan is gay though and he's Jake's boyfriend, while Josh is totally straight. So Sketch is bisexual.
Ronnie Viktch - Based him off my Uncle Jerry, best uncle eveeeeerrr <3. The guy is always cracking jokes and pulling pranks xD.
Rahmi Raimen & Kaigy Burnout - I didn't really base these two off anyone, I just watched the animated film Dead Space one night then went to bed and had a dream about them.. they don't even relate to Dead Space it's just that they were running away from the creatures and arguing a lot lmao.
Captain Pulse - It's hard to remember.. but I think when I made Pulse, I was thinking of my highschool friend Danny (Who I sadly lost contact with after we graduated
really miss that guy) he was such a sweet dude, and I remember I'd draw random creatures then slide the paper over to him during class and he couldn't draw so instead he'd draw funny little stick figures all over the paper interacting with the creatures. Good times.
